Men and women being exposed to edited snaps and unrealistic pictures bring about a negative impact which can be linked to lack of confidence, low self-esteem and worst, depression. What is your stance about body shaming? We all know that this is very evident nowadays. The fact that you find thin girls as ideal ones, you are indeed body shaming, without you even realizing it. Whether you mean it or not, it doesn’t matter. The outcome is always different from the intent. What is important is you have to be sensitive enough before you utter a single word out of your mouth.
Think before you click that’s what they said, but how would you react if you discovered that a hurtful post was done on purpose? Just like Francis Mabanta’s Facebook post regarding fat-shaming, he purposely criticized fat people and took his stand to be “100% in favor of fat-shaming”.
